GeoTest, Inc. is a leading Wisconsin geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing laboratory. We are ISO/IEC 17025 and WisDOT accredited. We have laboratories in West Allis and Madison. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team – and your role is key to the success of GeoTest. Our firm is seeking a Project Engineer with technical skills to work with our staff of CMT engineers performing materials analyses, managing CMT engineering projects, and preparing and reviewing testing and inspection reports and proposals. On the Job
- Work is generally Mon-Fri between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. 7:00 am to 4:00 pm during the construction season.
- Employee could be located in our Milwaukee or Madison office, although occasional daily travel between locations may be necessary.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience as a civil /geotechnical / CMT engineer is desired. Entry level acceptable.
- Good driving record and valid WI driver’s license.
- Must pass pre-employment, non-DOT drug screening.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar.
Preferences
- Experience to include work in soils, concrete, asphalt, or aggregate sampling and testing and construction site inspection on WisDOT or commercial construction sites. Familiarity with WisDOT, ACI, ICC or NICET certifications is desirable.
- Wisconsin PE or ability to obtain.
Pay and Benefits
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year, Bonus opportunities, Pay is based on level of prior experience., Expected hours: 45 – 50 hours per week.
