GeoTest, Inc. is a leading Wisconsin geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing laboratory. We are ISO/IEC 17025 and WisDOT accredited. We have laboratories in West Allis and Madison. We are currently hiring a skilled Project Assistant to help maintain our project and administrative records and to aid project managers. On the Job
- Work is generally Mon-Fri between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Operations – Enter and process field data to create test reports / observation reports for review by Operations Manager and/or Project Manager. Maintain project records and retention strategies. Project set up to include Work Plans, material tracking, and submittals.
- Office – Assist in monitoring new project integration – client agreements, COI’s, internal budget, and project set up.
- Quality Assurance – Assist Quality Assurance Manager in recording and tracking equipment and calibration records, training and certification records, training, and guidance manuals.
Requirements
Proven administrative experience. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. Proficiency in English and in MS Office. Customer service orientation and negotiation skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferences
AS or BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar, HS diploma with experience.
Pay and Benefits
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour, based on level of prior experience. Bonus opportunities.
- Expected hours: 40 – 50 hours per week.
